We are currently seeking a Devops Solution Architect (Remote) to join our team in Parsippany, New Jersey (US-NJ), United States (US).

Devops Solution Architect

Position's General Duties and Tasks:

1. Design and deploy highly available, secure, and scalable IT solutions using the latest open source technologies
2. Design and implement infrastructure automation tools and workflows to support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) initiatives
3. Facilitating the development process and operations.
4. Identifying setbacks and shortcomings.
5. Creating suitable DevOps channels across the organization.
6. Establishing continuous build environments to speed up software development.
7. Designing efficient practices.
8. Delivering comprehensive best practices.
9. Managing and reviewing technical operations.
10. Guiding the development team

Qualifications

Must have Skills:

1. 10+ years of experience in Devops and Release Management
2. Previous experience working on a 24x7 cloud or SaaS operation team.
3. Experience with infrastructure management and monitoring.
4. Experience with version control systems (git, svn, etc)
5. Expertise with scalable architectures (e.g. PaaS, SaaS, IaaS)
6. Strong knowledge of DevOps Platform tooling ( Chef, Puppet, and Docker.)
7. Working knowledge of automation service provisioning and middleware configuration.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Strong analytical skill.

Education Requirements

Degree in computer science, information systems, or related field
