The Data Architect will oversee the design, implement and manage a scalable Data Management Framework for the IT Managed Services operations. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in data architecture, integration and analytics enablement with proven experience working across platforms such as ServiceNow, Genesys and Amazon Quick Sight or similar BI tools.

This role is both strategic and hands-on, responsible for defining data standards, ensuring data quality which helps enhance the service delivery, operational efficiency and client satisfaction.

Essential Job Functions

  • Define and implement the data management strategy and data architecture framework aligned with the business goals and IT Managed Services operations.
  • Establish data governance, data lineage and metadata management practices across multiple data sources.
  • Design scalable and secure data pipelines integrating data from ServiceNow, Genesys, CRM and other operational systems.
  • Lead the roadmap for data modernization and cloud data architecture (AWS Preferred)
  • Architect and oversee the ETL/ELT processes, ensuring data ingestion, transformation and storage.
  • Define data models and schemas for unified reporting and analytics
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure data quality, security and compliance with enterprise standards.
  • Act as a Technical lead for the Data Management framework and collaborate with IT, Operations and Clients to identify the data opportunities and challenges. - Work closely with solution architects, data engineers, service management and analysts to design end to-end data flows.
  • Mentor and coach team members on data strategy best practices, data governance and modern architecture patterns
  • Establish metrics for monitoring data framework health, performance and adoption.
  • Drive data automation and optimization efforts to improve data freshness, reliability and accessibility.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information systems or related field.
  • 8+ Years experience in data management, data strategy or data architecture roles.
  • Proven experience in integrating and architecting data from ServiceNow, Genesys and other ITSM/Contact Center platforms.
  • Hands on experience with AWS Data services (E.g. S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, Quick Sight) or equivalent cloud systems.
  • Strong Knowledge of ETL tools, data modeling, SQL and API-based integrations.
  • Experience implementing data governance, metadata management and data quality frameworks.
  • Strong Leadership and communication skills to bridge technical and business stakeholders.
  • Experience in IT Managed services or large scale service delivery environments preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in AWS Data Analytics, Data Architecture or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with data catalog and master data management tools.
  • Understanding of ITIL frameworks and Service Management processes.
