We are a small and dynamic software development group at Nintendo. We develop networking software for Nintendo's game systems, do research and prototyping, and develop networking tools and solutions. We are looking for a software engineer who has a passion for networking technologies and systems software. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, debugging, and testing of network-related software. You should have strong C/C++ programming skills.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
- Development of network-related software, both proprietary and OSS.
- Develop new features and protocols, perform performance analysis, optimize systems, and diagnose failures.
- May take lead role of software components.
- Read and apply RFCs and CVEs.
- Review codes of others.
- BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering; MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering preferred
- 4 or more years of professional software development in C programming. Must be proficient with C.
- Professional multithreaded software development experience.
- Strong data structures and algorithms knowledge.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Requirements
- Networking software development (L3 or above).).
- Development experience with OS/kernel internals and/or systems-like software.
- Development experience with networking protocols or technologies such as SSL/TLS, HTTP, socket APIs, and/or TCP/UDP.
- Multi-core or shared memory multiprocessor software development experience.
This position includes a base salary range of $115,152 - $172,728 annually, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
