Our client is a major infrastructure and facilities management business headquartered in London, with operations spanning the UK, Europe, and Australia. With an annual procurement spend exceeding £800m across construction, professional services, and technology categories, they are investing in a more strategic and commercially rigorous procurement function. The business is privately held and profitable, with a clear mandate to drive value through smarter supply chain management.

The Role

As Procurement Manager, you will lead strategic sourcing activity across a portfolio of categories, managing supplier relationships and delivering measurable cost and value improvements. You will work closely with operational and commercial stakeholders to ensure procurement decisions support delivery while managing risk and compliance effectively.

What You'll Do

  • Own the end-to-end sourcing process for assigned categories, including market analysis, RFP management, negotiation, and contract award.

  • Manage key supplier relationships, including performance reviews, escalation handling, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Develop category strategies that reflect the business's operational priorities and deliver long-term value.

  • Identify and quantify cost improvement opportunities, building business cases for leadership approval.

  • Ensure procurement processes comply with internal policy, regulatory requirements, and contract obligations.

What We're Looking For

  • 4–7 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain roles, ideally within an infrastructure, facilities, or professional services environment.

  • Strong commercial negotiation skills and experience managing complex supplier contracts.

  • Analytical mindset, comfortable with spend data, cost modelling, and business case development.

  • Effective stakeholder manager, able to influence internally and build trust with suppliers.

  • CIPS qualification or equivalent is advantageous but not required.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary of £65,000 – £85,000, depending on experience.

  • Annual performance bonus.

  • Company pension with employer contributions above market rate.

  • Private health cover, 26 days holiday, and hybrid working from the London office.
