We are on the hunt for a highly talented, forward thinking Midweight Designer to join the Next Online Creative team on a 12 month fixed term contract. As a Mid-weight Digital Creative Designer, you’ll be focussed on creating and implementing digital ready designs for the Next Online design team as well.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced designer from an in house or agency background who is looking for a new challenge.

Whilst enhancing the Next brand through well considered, exceptional designs, you’ll be responsible for creating content across the digital portfolio including presentations, pitch packs and onsite graphics.

We offer hybrid working with part of the week working at our head office in Enderby, Leicestershire and part of the week working remotely.

This is a 12 month mat cover.

About the Role

  • Be able to take briefs from concept to creation
  • Create Landing Pages, Home pages, Emails, Banners & Editorial content.
  • Use your design skills to create digital ready assets for onsite graphics, moodboards and presentations across the Next client base.
  • Help implement brand guidelines, styles and layouts, while working to specified deadlines.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders as well as design leads across the Online Department.
  • Working closely with the commercial team to ensure your designs help drive online sales
  • We have a large team of experienced designers so sharing and collaborating is essential to a successful outcome.

Software / Skills

  • Experience working within a similar role
  • A strong portfolio of existing creative work
  • HTML/CSS coding knowledge would be beneficial
  • Proactive approach to tasks with a positive outlook
  • Someone who can create original concepts and strong ideas
  • Experience of Figma
  • Good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Working experience of a CMS beneficial (Training would be given)
  • Be comfortable presenting to key stakeholders in the business so having excellent communication skills is a must.
  • Comfortable managing own workload and working to tight deadlines
  • Calm in busy working environment
