It expanded its capabilities to include potable water, industrial process water, and wastewater treatment, serving diverse sectors from mining and private development to municipal markets. In 2020, Newterra was acquired by private equity firm Frontenac, fueling further growth and the acquisition of companies like TIGG and H2O Engineering. This trajectory of expansion culminated in August 2025, when Newterra was acquired by Grundfos, a global leader in advanced pump solutions and water technology, marking a new chapter in its mission to provide sustainable water solutions worldwide.
