As a Senior Software Engineer at Acquisio, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering high-quality software within an Agile environment. You will work primarily with Java and TypeScript (mainly Angular), collaborating across the full software development lifecycle—from design, coding, and test automation to deployment, monitoring, and production support. Your responsibility is to consistently deliver stable, scalable, and user-friendly features (“stories”) while maintaining and improving code quality and documentation.
What you'll do & how you'll make your mark.
Design, develop, and deliver software features with a focus on quality, scalability, and maintainability.
Ensure robust test coverage through automated unit, integration, and regression tests following Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) principles.
Build and maintain monitoring and support tools to proactivelydetect and resolve issues.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including QA, infrastructure, and product to support production deployments and resolve operational bugs.
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement (3 Amigos), sprint planning (Poker Planning), retrospectives, and demos.
Continuously reduce technical debt and contribute to a culture of clean and well-documented code—embodying the principle of “always leaving the codebase better than you found it.”
Organize workload within the development team, communicate obstacles promptly, and contribute to collective problem-solving during sprints.
Keep customers’ needs top of mind to deliver intuitive, reliable, and error-free software solutions.
Who you are & what you'll need to succeed.
Proven experience with microservices architecture, particularly with Spring Boot.
Certifications in cloud technologies such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
Strong understanding of security best practices in CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments (Jenkins preferred).
Experience in Agile software development and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
