What started as a strategic greenfield investment in the Klaipėda Free Economic Zone in Lithuania has since evolved into one of the continent's largest and most modern producers of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) resins. From its inception, the company focused on serving the food and beverage packaging industry, quickly gaining a reputation for reliability and high-quality production standards.

Over the years, NEO GROUP has significantly expanded its capabilities and product portfolio. In 2011, the company diversified into the chemical recycling sector, launching NEOPOLYOL, a product line that transforms PET waste into aromatic polyester polyols used in the construction industry. This move marked a pivotal shift towards sustainability and circular economy principles. The company continued its growth trajectory with major capacity expansions, including the addition of a third production line in 2018, which solidified its position as a leading player in the European market.

The company has developed proprietary technologies for chemical recycling, such as NEOPET CYCLE, which allows for the incorporation of significant amounts of recycled material into new PET resins without compromising quality.
