Who You Are

You’re a hands-on leader who thrives in the field and takes pride in building high-performing teams that deliver excellence on every job. You’ve spent years mastering the craft of structured cabling—both copper and fiber—and know what it takes to get a complex infrastructure project done safely, on time, and to spec. Your leadership style blends technical expertise with mentorship and accountability: you set clear expectations, support your people, and hold them to a high standard of quality and professionalism. You’re as comfortable walking a job site as you are in a client meeting, and you know how to translate technical execution into operational success.

About The Role

As the Cabling Superintendent Manager, you’ll lead and develop a team of Cabling Superintendents responsible for delivering structured cabling and low-voltage infrastructure projects across multiple clients and sites. You’ll ensure field execution aligns with Myriad360’s standards of safety, quality, and performance while driving continuous improvement in installation practices and documentation. This role is both strategic and tactical—balancing oversight of day-to-day field operations with the long-term growth of the cabling team. You’ll partner closely with Project Managers, Technical Leads, and clients to ensure every project is completed to specification, on schedule, and within budget, while fostering a culture of excellence across all field teams.

Travel up to 90% required based on project and client requirements with possibility of international travel (active passport required). Must be based in the United States and available evening hours and weekends.

Other responsibilities include:

Leadership Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Cabling Superintendents across multiple concurrent projects
  • Set clear performance expectations, KPIs, and accountability metrics for each superintendent
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, site audits, and performance reviews with superintendents
  • Build a strong field culture centered around safety, quality, professionalism, and teamwork
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new superintendents and field technicians
  • Partner with Project Managers and Technical Leads to ensure alignment between field execution and project scope
  • Serve as an escalation point for technical or personnel issues on job sites

Operational Oversight

  • Oversee all structured cabling field execution across assigned projects or regions (copper, fiber, pathways, labeling, testing, etc.)
  • Ensure consistent implementation of cabling standards (TIA, BICSI, ANSI, company best practices
  • Monitor job schedules, material consumption, manpower loading, and progress reporting from each superintendent
  • Approve project schedules and manpower plans; ensure realistic forecasts and accurate resource allocation
  • Review and approve field change orders, RFIs, and redlines
  • Support coordination between cabling, electrical, and other trades on large or complex jobs
  • Conduct site walks to audit installation quality, cable management, labeling, and test documentation
  • Ensure closeout packages (test results, as-builts, photos, CODs, etc.) are complete and standardized across all projects

Quality, Safety Compliance

  • Drive a strong safety culture: enforce OSHA and site-specific safety compliance across all field operations
  • Maintain standardized QA/QC checklists and enforce adherence to inspection procedures
  • Oversee field corrective action processes and verify completion of punch lists
  • Continuously improve cabling standards, documentation templates, and installation methods

Client Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Serve as the primary interface between field execution and project/program management teams
  • Attend client and GC coordination meetings when field issues or escalations arise
  • Support pre-sales and solution development teams with technical guidance and field input when needed
  • Support client walkthroughs, acceptance testing, and site turnover activities

Administrative Reporting

  • Track team utilization, productivity, and project labor efficiency
  • Produce weekly status reports summarizing superintendent performance, project milestones, and risks
  • Support forecasting and scheduling for upcoming jobs to ensure proper staffing
  • Partner with procurement and logistics teams to maintain material standards and minimize waste
  • Complete ongoing security awareness training and comply with company policies to the requirements section
  • Identify and escalate security risks to the appropriate Executive Leadership Team member and actively contribute to remediation efforts
  • Other duties as assigned

Desired skills and experience:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in structured cabling / low-voltage infrastructure
  • 3–5 years of experience in a leadership or superintendent management role overseeing multiple job sites or crews
  • Strong technical knowledge of copper and fiber systems, testing methods, and installation standards (TIA/EIA, BICSI, NEC)
  • Data center or enterprise campus build experience required
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate field teams under tight schedules
  • Excellent planning, scheduling, and coordination skills in live construction environments
  • Familiarity with construction drawings, RFIs, submittals, change management, and as-built documentation
  • High attention to detail, with a strong focus on quality control and client satisfaction
  • Proficient in MS Office, project management platforms, and field documentation tools (e.g., PlanGrid, Procore, SiteDocs, or similar)

Nice to Have:

  • BICSI Technician or RCDD certification
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred
  • Experience managing subcontractors and national field deployment partners
  • Familiarity with structured cabling in complex environments
  • Strong reporting and documentation skills using Excel or Google Sheets tracking formats
  • Understanding of project financials (labor burn rates, margins, etc.)
