Job description
We are looking for a Backend Developer responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
Key responsibility area
- Designing and deploying dynamically scalable, available, fault-tolerant, and reliable applications
- Designing and deploying enterprise-wide scalable operations
- Implementing cost-control strategies
- Developing and maintain the CI/CD pipeline for the assigned projects
- Conduct code reviews, and make technical contributions to product architecture
- Get involved in solving bugs and delivering small features
- Understand engineering metrics and seek to improve them
- Understanding the requirements from the Team lead and ensure quality delivery on time.
Requirements
- Must have knowledge of PHP (Python knowledge is a plus) and related frameworks and libraries..
- Must understand MySQL queries and optimization.
- Must have a good understanding of REST APIs and related standards.
- Must have worked with similar technologies: redis, docker, AWS, elasticsearch.
- Must know about microservice architectures and CI/CD pipelines.
- Must be great at planning, researching and communicating.
Growth path
The person would be able to manage high-performance teams by standard practices used by FANG (Facebook, Amazon, Netflix, Google). Promotion to Team lead posts feasible in the future.
