Program Overview

Support Product Quality to resolve product non-conformance issues / concerns. Identify OEM product to engineer drawing and support Quality Spills. Provide disposition and control national parts inventory.

Position Summary

Purpose is to provide product disposition to correct quality part non-conformance (Request For Inspection) to align with engineer drawing and product specifications.

Key Responsibilities

· Complete the following work segments and update RFI or FW in GM IMS

  • ERFOU01 & ERFOU02P / ERFOU02Q

· Process each RFI & FW to GM Process within 48hrs of receipt

· Update and Maintain GM IMS for each RFI or FW worked

· Monitor IMS for new RFI & FW pending daily

· Assist supplier with questions

· Aid all GM Quality initiatives

· Attend customer meetings during core hrs.

  • GM Team Center
  • Analyzing Engineer Drawings for product dimensions and detail
  • Verifying product to specification (engineering and/or packaging)
  • Experience with Electronic Parts Catalog (EPC)
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Main Frame (MS-DOS Environment)
