Our Manufacturing Operations teams are the people that make our products. We work in the manufacturing plants with a “Safety First, Quality Always” mindset striving for continuous improvement. We work in the local plant connected to our global manufacturing network to ensure the highest quality of raw materials, intermediates and finished products.

In alignment with operations staff and reporting to Management or others assigned, oversight responsibilities, performs general support functions and troubleshooting necessary to facilitate efficient and cost-effective production activities.

Responsibilities

Equipment

  • Cleaning equipment and supplies

  • Labeling | Organization

  • Material handling equipment (e.g. Hand jacks, carts, hand trucks, hoists, biosafety cabinets, chemical fume hoods, freezers, thaw baths and pumps)

  • Environmental monitoring equipment (e.g. SMA, particle counters)

  • Computer systems (e.g. IMPACT, GLIMS, POMS, EQO, PC)

Duties

  • Maintain areas in compliance with cGMPs and other applicable regulatory guidelines by performing all necessary housekeeping, disinfection, and waste management of assigned production environments

  • Adheres to all our company safety guidelines and procedures

  • Monitor facility conditions during activities defined above and perform general tasks to ensure the environment and equipment are maintained in full regulatory compliance | Equipment Cleaning | Minor Surface Repairs | Notify supervisor or other designate of areas requiring further attention

  • Aligned with production activities, will assist others in removing used process equipment or assisting with the break down of equipment following completed operations

  • Maintain appropriate GMP documentation for all responsible activities and ensure compliance with all training requirements

  • Using appropriate data management systems, manages and ensures inventory of all necessary production and support supplies

  • Conducts environmental sampling and sample management

  • Achieves and maintains job proficiency through continued training

  • Achieve the skill set to advance to SA-2 level

  • Applies the Team Member and Leadership Standards consistently at the expected level

  • Attends and actively participates in HAZOPS, waste walkthroughs, kaizen vents, or any other operations, lean six-sigma, quality, safety, or environmental training/initiatives

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • Successful completion of the required skills assessment

Experience and Skills

Preferred

  • Laboratory or manufacturing operations requiring aseptic or sterile technique

  • Working in a GMP facility

  • Automated systems | Computer

Job Specific Requirements

  • Obtain all required titers
