What we are looking for
- Familiarize yourself with the offered IT services of the company
- Define the Sales Management strategy and the framework to execute it for the services offered by the company for western Europe, especially for the DACH region
- Identify market potentials, especially in the DACH region and western Europe, and develop individual sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets
- Build and maintain relationships with potential customers
- Collaborate with all relevant teams to compile customer-specific services including a suitable delivery concept
- Prepare all sales-related documents, especially presentations, offers and contracts, and lead respective negotiations
- Attend industry events and conferences to build networks and promote our services
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape as well as customer needs and share feedbacks with all relevant teams
- Create sales reports and regularly inform about the implementation status of the sales strategy
Requirements
What qualifications you should have
- Degree in business informatics, technical informatics or a comparable education
- At least 5 years of experience as an IT Sales Manager, with a successful track record of achieving sales targets
- Solid knowledge of IT market and business culture, especially in Germany and western Europe
- Solid knowledge of IT products and services
- Empathy and a feeling for managing customer needs at eye level with strong communication, negotiation and teamwork abilities
- Sales management methodology skills, e.g. regarding market analyses, market penetration and development strategies, pricing, negotiations and contracts
- Independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working with problem-solving and entrepreneurial mindset
- Willingness to travel occasionally to target locations
- Good proficiency in English and German (business level), both written and spoken
