Department Overview

The Response and Reporting team develops software for public safety organizations to manage emergency dispatch and records. The team is part of the Video and Software organization which builds secure, scalable and reliable on-premise and cloud based products to serve public safety and enterprise markets throughout the world providing sophisticated and customized workflows and cost effective solutions to municipalities of all sizes.


Job Description

Work as a member of the PremierOne Records team whose mission is to ensure success for our public safety customers. Successful candidates will help analyze, develop, design, and maintain the PremierOne Records software while working with the broader engineering team to improve our PremierOne Records Management Systems functionality and performance.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Proficiency developing C#/.NET applications in Visual Studio

  • Strong understanding of Object Oriented software design, Client-server and Service Oriented Architectures

  • Experience developing applications utilizing Microsoft SQL Server database(s)

  • Experience writing SQL stored procedures and performing query optimization is a plus.

  • Experience with UI programming in C#/.NET

  • Strong debugging skills, knowledge of WinDBG and ability to analyze memory dumps a plus

  • Experience with Git

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to juggle priorities with project follow through.

Qualification:

BS in Computer Science (or related technical equivalent) with 5+ years of professional software engineering experience OR 7+ years of relevant work experience

Strong knowledge of C# / .Net

Must be a US Citizen.

Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.

This position is subject to working in high security areas governed by the US Department of Justice's "Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy" and therefore requires successfully passing a fingerprint background check administered by Motorola Solutions Inc. customers.


Basic Requirements

BS in Computer Science (or related technical equivalent) with 5+ years of professional software engineering experience OR 7+ years of relevant work experience

Strong knowledge of C# / .Net

Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customer
