Job Description

Analyzes, develops, designs, and maintains software for the organization’s products and systems. Performs system integration of software and hardware to maintain throughput and program consistency. Develops, validates, and tests: structures and user documentation.


Basic Requirements

AWS :

  • Administer and manage AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, and other AWS offerings.

  • Ensure the integrity and security of cloud and on-premises infrastructure.

  • Implement and maintain automated cloud deployments and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, optimize resource utilization, and manage scaling based on demand.

  • Install, configure, and maintain Linux and Windows operating systems, including patch management and version control.

  • Manage hybrid environments with seamless integration between AWS and on-premises servers.

  • Scripting tasks for automation and configuration management using tools such as AWS CLI, PowerShell, Bash, or Python.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS services, Linux and Windows servers, including network and storage issues.

  • Collaborate with development teams to support cloud-based applications and database administration.

  • Ensure compliance with IT security standards and best practices.

  • Document system configurations, processes, and standard operating procedures.

Openshift :

Install, configure, and manage Red Hat OpenShift clusters with a focus on virtualization capabilities.

Implement and maintain KubeVirt for running virtual machine (VM) workloads within OpenShift.

Work with networking and storage teams to ensure proper integration for VMs within the OpenShift environment.

Collaborate with application developers to deploy and manage containerized and virtualized applications.

Monitor and troubleshoot virtualization performance issues, and optimize the environment for efficiency.

Develop and maintain automation scripts for deployment and maintenance tasks using Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools.

Ensure high availability and disaster recovery of virtualized workloads.

Keep up with new developments in the field of container and virtualization technologies.

Document the architecture and procedures related to OpenShift virtualization.

Provide training and support to other teams on using OpenShift virtualization features.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Strong working knowledge of AWS cloud services and cloud architecture best practices.

  • Proven experience with Linux and Windows server administration, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and essential services.

  • Experience with automation and scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.

  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies like VMware, Hyper-V, or equivalent.

  • Solid understanding of networking principles and protocols.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

**Preferred Skills**:

  • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or other relevant AWS certifications.

  • Certifications in Red Hat technologies (e.g., Red Hat Certified Engineer, Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration).

  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Experience with monitoring and logging services within AWS and on-premises environments.
