This role requires a deep understanding of pricing tools, market dynamics, competitive analysis, and pricing models.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage implementation of Company-wide strategic pricing programs to achieve business objectives.
- Utilize AI and machine learning tools to analyze market trends and optimize pricing decisions.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform pricing strategies.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to align pricing strategies with business goals.
- Monitor and analyze pricing performance and make recommendations for adjustments.
- Provide training and support to sales and customer service teams on pricing strategies and tools.
- Analyze pricing data and market trends to develop pricing strategies that maximize profitability and revenue growth.
- Conduct research and gather data on customer behavior, competitive pricing, and market trends to recommend pricing adjustments and promotions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Executive Management, to identify pricing opportunities and risks.
- Create and maintain pricing models and tools that enable effective pricing decisions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of pricing policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide insights into pricing performance and trends.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in pricing management, preferably in the industrial distribution industry.
- Proficiency in pricing tools and software, preferably using SPARXiQ/Strategic Pricing programs.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data.
- Experience with AI and machine learning tools for pricing optimization.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
