This role requires up to 20–30% travel to support on-site discovery, implementation, training, and events with key enterprise clients.

Role Overview

As a Solution Engineer, you’ll own the technical pre‑sale and post‑sale journey: scoping enterprise requirements, architecting configurations and integrations, delivering proof‑of‑concepts, and partnering with Implementation Managers to ensure seamless go‑lives. Your deep understanding of both MoeGo’s product suite and pet care operations will make you the trusted advisor enterprises turn to for strategic, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Discovery & Pre‑Sales

  • Partner with Sales to lead technical discovery and pre‑sales for enterprise grooming, boarding, daycare, and franchise customers.

  • Deliver consultative demos and technical walkthroughs tailored to executive and operational stakeholders.

Solution Design & Architecture

  • Design customized, scalable solutions aligning MoeGo’s platform capabilities (APIs, integrations, workflows, security protocols) with customer requirements.

  • Provide insights on system architecture, integration possibilities, data migration strategies, and long‑term scalability.

Post‑Sale Technical Collaboration

  • Work alongside Implementation Managers to translate scoping artifacts into detailed technical runbooks.

  • Troubleshoot advanced configuration issues and guide teams through complex cut‑over scenarios.

  • Work with the eng team to finalize system integration design and implementation plan and forge collaborative processes between inhouse and customer TLs for system integration.

Documentation & Enablement

  • Create technical documentation, integration guides, and playbooks to streamline enterprise onboarding and support.

  • Produce architecture diagrams and best‑practice playbooks for phased, scaled rollouts.

Continuous Improvement & Feedback

  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to communicate enterprise needs, recommend enhancements, and influence the roadmap.

  • Maintain deep fluency in all MoeGo enterprise modules and third‑party integrations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Technical Consulting Experience: 3–5+ years in solution/sales engineering or technical consulting for SaaS.

  • Analytical Problem‑Solving: Comfort designing complex data flows, mapping integrations, and resolving technical challenges under tight timelines.

  • Communication & Facilitation: Expert at running discovery workshops, presenting to executives, and authoring clear runbooks and architecture docs.

  • Collaborative Spirit: Proven track record of partnering with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Implementation teams to deliver cohesive solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Domain Fluency: Background in pet care operations or adjacent hospitality, with an ability to “speak operator.”

  • A strong sense of ownership, problem-solving mindset, and passion for helping customers succeed.
