We are seeking a highly motivated Senior BI & JavaScript Engineer to join our team and play a key role in developing and maintaining our business intelligence infrastructure and associated web applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced Spotfire dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support business intelligence and data analysis needs.
• Develop, test, and deploy features using modern JavaScript frameworks like Node.js.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions using Spotfire.
• Integrate custom web components with Spotfire dashboards to create enhanced, interactive user experiences.
• Optimize Spotfire applications for performance, scalability, and
  maintainability.
• Develop data models and prepare data for visualization by integrating data from various sources such as databases, data lakes, APIs, and flat files.
• Implement and manage data security, user roles, and access controls within Spotfire to ensure compliance with data governance policies.
  Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring timely delivery of reporting solutions.
• Perform unit testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production
  deployment of JS & Spotfire solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with TIBCO Spotfire development, including dashboard design, data preparation, and advanced visualization techniques.
• Proven experience in web development using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Proficiency with at least one modern JavaScript framework (e.g., Vue.js, React, Angular).
• Strong proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and experience working with large datasets.
• Experience with data integration from multiple sources such as relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle), APIs, flat files, and cloud data platforms.
• Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices for creating effective, user-friendly reports and dashboards.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  Experience in an Agile development environment is a plus.
  Industry experience in Marketplaces is a plus.
