About the Role
We are seeking a Lead Salesforce Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud and deep knowledge of the overall Salesforce ecosystem. This role is hands-on, responsible for designing and building scalable Salesforce solutions, while also guiding best practices for junior developers.
The ideal candidate thrives in writing clean code, solving complex business challenges, and delivering high-performance solutions across Sales, Service, Experience, and B2B Commerce Clouds.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement end-to-end Salesforce solutions with a strong focus on B2B Commerce Cloud.
- Deliver hands-on development in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, Visualforce, and APIs.
- Customize B2B Commerce templates, pricing logic, catalog, cart, and checkout flows.
- Build and maintain custom objects, Flows, integrations, batch jobs, and automation.
- Collaborate with architects and business analysts to translate business needs into scalable solutions.
- Migrate and modernize legacy automations (Workflows/Process Builder → Flows).
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, and deployments to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in multi-cloud Salesforce environments.
- Mentor junior developers by sharing technical knowledge and coding standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 6+ years Salesforce development experience, including 3+ years with B2B Commerce Cloud.
- Strong proficiency in Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, REST/SOAP APIs, and Commerce Cloud data model.
- Hands-on experience in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and integrations.
- Strong understanding of B2B commerce features: catalog management, entitlement rules, pricing, and checkout flows.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, Git, scratch orgs, and deployment pipelines.
Salesforce Certifications preferred:
Salesforce Certified B2B Commerce Developer
Platform Developer II (mandatory for lead dev role)
Nice to Have
- Experience with Fintech/Payments industry integrations (e.g., JUMIO, GIACT, D&B, TAXJAR, PROVE, INSTAREM).
- Knowledge of MuleSoft, Workato, or RPA tools.
- Experience working in multi-instance, large user-base Salesforce environments.
