MicroHealth, LLC is a distinguished Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and a Small Business Administration (SBA) 8(a) certified firm specializing in providing advanced information technology solutions within the federal health sector. Founded in 2010 by U.S. Army veterans Frank Tucker and Claude Hines, the company was born from their firsthand experience with the challenges of implementing effective IT systems in clinical and battlefield settings. They recognized a critical gap where IT vendors often lacked the clinical understanding necessary to create user-centric systems that genuinely support healthcare professionals. To address this, MicroHealth was established with the mission to 'put the health back in health IT', assembling a dedicated team of clinical executives, health professionals, technologists, researchers, and informaticists. This multidisciplinary expertise allows the company to deliver solutions that are not only technologically advanced but also deeply rooted in the practical needs of healthcare providers and their patients.

The company's core capabilities are extensive, encompassing electronic health records (EHR), telehealth, health informatics, clinical training and implementation, custom software development, medical simulations, data analytics, and cybersecurity. MicroHealth partners with various federal departments and agencies, including the Department of Defense (DOD) and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), to modernize their health IT infrastructures. Notable projects include supporting the Army with advanced medical simulation capabilities for realistic battlefield trauma training and assisting the DOD with the integration of medical devices into its new EHR system. The firm is committed to leveraging technology to improve healthcare outcomes, enhance patient care, and increase operational efficiency for its government clients. This commitment is underscored by their numerous industry accolades for growth, workplace culture, and service excellence, reflecting their status as a leader in the health IT industry.
