About Merge
We are Merge, a product integration platform that offers a suite of unified APIs to empower B2B SaaS organizations to seamlessly add hundreds of integrations to their apps. Our platform makes secure data access easy by offering unified APIs across key software categories, including HRIS, accounting, CRM, file storage, and more. By handling the full integration lifecycle, we empower companies to close deals faster, reduce customer churn, and save engineering costs. We're passionate about solving the integration problem because we've experienced it firsthand. Both myself and my co-founder, Shensi Ding, encountered the pains of managing numerous integrations at our previous companies. Shensi saw it from the business side, witnessing the costs incurred, while I, leading an engineering team, spent nights and weekends working on these integrations because they were so much work and constantly breaking.
We realized this was a widespread problem across many B2B categories, so we decided to launch Merge. We started Merge in 2020, two months into the COVID pandemic. We were always an in-person company from the beginning, starting with just the two of us in my apartment and growing from there. We believe in building a strong, in-person culture. Our mission is to help developers integrate once with our API to offer a full category of integrations to their customers. We handle the entire integrations lifecycle, from an easy initial build and hand-held end-user onboarding to fully managed maintenance of all those integrations. In 2023, we introduced groundbreaking products and features like Integration Observability, CRM and File Storage unified APIs, and Blueprint, an AI-powered tool to speed up unified API development. We're proud to have been named the sole category "Leader" in the G2 Grid for Unified APIs and included in G2's list of Fastest Growing Products for 2024. We're backed by Accel Partners, New Enterprise Associates (NEA), and Addition, having received $75 million in funding.
