Position: Litigation & Disputes Expert
Type:Contract
Compensation:$110–$150/hour
Location:Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Develop long-horizon litigation tasks with deterministic rubrics to evaluate agent performance against verifiable ground truth.
• Build scenarios in Discovery, including document review with ground-truth tags and privilege logging.
• Create Research tasks with verifiable holdings and correct citations, ensuring cite-checking against a ground-truth authority list.
• Design Procedural work scenarios, such as deposition outlines and discovery-response timing tied to FRCP/state rules.
• Ensure tasks have checkable answers, avoiding open-ended essays and subjective judgment calls.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• JD; 3+ years in litigation (firm or in-house).
• Bar admission in at least one US state.
• Expertise in ediscovery (Relativity, Everlaw, DISCO), legal research (Westlaw, Lexis), FRCP or state civil procedure, privilege and work-product doctrine.
• Comfortable with litigation artifacts: review coding decisions, privilege logs, research memos, deposition outlines.
• Clear written communication; articulate reasoning step by step and encode it into deterministic rubrics.
