Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join our team, focusing on supporting our on-premise and private cloud (single-tenant) customers. This role involves handling tasks of medium to low complexity, ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both cloud and on-premise environments, with expertise in key technologies such as Kubernetes, containerization, Terraform, Ansible, Linux, and customer troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Management: Deploy, configure, and maintain on-premise and private cloud infrastructure for our enterprise customers.
• Automation and Orchestration: Utilize tools like Terraform and Ansible to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
• Containerization: Manage and deploy containerized applications using Kubernetes, optimizing resource utilization and application performance.
• Troubleshooting and Support: Provide timely and effective technical support to customers, resolving infrastructure-related issues and ensuring high availability.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the infrastructure team and other stakeholders to deliver seamless solutions to our customers.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Cloud and On-Premise Expertise: Proven experience managing both cloud-based and on-premise infrastructure environments.
• Kubernetes and Containerization: Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms, with experience in deploying and managing containerized applications.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency in using Terraform or similar tools for infrastructure automation and provisioning.
• Configuration Management: Experience with Ansible or other configuration management tools for automating system configurations.
• Linux Administration: Solid understanding of Linux operating systems and administration tasks.
• Troubleshooting: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Customer Focus: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.

Desired Skills:

• Scripting: Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation tasks.
• Monitoring: Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) for infrastructure performance tracking.
• Networking: Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
