The Patient Resolution Specialist manages a large volume of inbound and outbound calls to secure payment of outstanding account balances, resolve account inquiries, and investigate and document status of these account activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- At least 5 years' experience working in a related role, with at least 1 year experience working in an inbound/outbound call center environment
- Strong working knowledge of the healthcare reimbursement process
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well at all levels of the organization
- Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
- Gracious and welcoming personality for customer service interaction
