Coordinates the administrative and technical functions to provide high quality service to our patients and staff in a cost-effective manner. Translates the departmental vision into meaningful and effective responses and results.

Recognizes and organizes opportunities to improve processes and to act as a catalyst for realizing these improvements. Acts as a facilitator and generator of new ideas and a mediator on difficult issues. Remains abreast of current external environment issues, plans and manages the unit accordingly. Participates in the overall management of the division by chairing and serving on inter- and intra-divisional projects/groups, task forces and committees, and serving as liaison between the work unit and other departments and agencies inside and outside Mayo. Creates a customer service driven unit adept at working collaboratively with physician and administrative colleagues and across department and institutional lines. Builds teamwork within the division and among physician and administrative colleagues

  • Serves in a supportive role to the development of supply chain business solutions that contribute to Mayo’s ability to sustain its Mission. Such business solutions may be commercialized for use/access by other healthcare organizations, collaboratives, suppliers or business partners.
  • Supports the establishment of policies, operational practices and processes associated with supply chain and commercialization functions.

Bachelor's degree in related field and eight (8) years' experience, which includes at least five (5) years in supervisory/management or equivalent leadership experience; OR, Master's degree in related field and a minimum of five (5) years' related experience, which includes three (3) years' previous supervisory/management experience. Related certification may be considered in lieu of experience.
