Role Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager / Sales Director to progress into a new role and develop and execute the Account sales strategy for Mavenir’s accounts in Central Europe. This is a career development opportunity for someone to take ownership of a groups of accounts and develop a regional role.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve / exceed account sales targets for order intake and cash collection and maximise the scale and profitability of the accounts.
- Develop and maintain an account plan within allocated accounts to grow business within company priorities and to ensure this plan is well anchored, accepted and communicated within the Company and the Account.
- Develop, maintain and submit accurate and predictable up to date business forecasts.
- Achieve the objectives set for the Account, such as Desired Position, Market Share, Revenue, Order Intake and Profit Growth.
- Understand the Account’s business issues, strategies and capabilities and to communicate these internally in the Company at various levels.
- Define and drive the Company’s strategy for alliances and partnerships into the account.
- Manage, together with the commercial department, the prime negotiation processes in the Account.
- Oversee the bid process for key strategic or international opportunities.
- Maximise our effort to deliver the agreed services and products to the Account and ensure the correct billing and Account receivable status.
- To be aware of all issues and problems in the Account and to manage the actions to resolve these.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree ; or equivalent related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Telecom industry knowledge and understanding of product lifecycles and customer value propositions for products in the Telecom Vertical.
- Sales or account management experience within telecoms and IT coupled with a proven track record of meeting / exceeding quota and developing accounts.
- Excellent direct sales record - developing new accounts and exceeding sales targets with the Regional Service Provider community.
- Knowledge of IMS Application Solutions
- Account Management experience; selling large value (>$5m) mobile software or infrastructure solutions directly to mobile operators in the region
- Must have worked in complex matrix organisations.
- Strong track record in "solutions selling" to large sophisticated operators.
- Ability to generate strong contact and relationship network at a senior level in key mobile operators in region
- A pro‑active personality will a drive to succeed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Clear, concise and articulate verbal and written communications skills that can be directed at senior management and technical resources alike in a consistent and highly effective manner.
