Mary's Meals is a global movement that sets up school feeding projects in some of the world's poorest communities, where hunger and poverty prevent children from gaining an education. Our customers, the children we serve, face the significant challenge of chronic hunger, which acts as a major barrier to attending school and learning. Many are forced to work or beg to survive. Even for those who do make it to the classroom, hunger severely impacts their ability to concentrate and learn. This is why Mary's Meals provides a nutritious daily meal in a place of education. The promise of a good meal attracts these hungry children into the classroom, giving them the energy to learn and hope for a better future. We believe that every child deserves an education and enough to eat.

Our simple solution of a daily meal at school is truly life-changing. It encourages children to attend school, improves their concentration, and allows them to gain an education that can, in the future, be their ladder out of poverty. We see firsthand how this intervention transforms lives, not just for the individual child but for their families and communities. Mary's Meals works in partnership with local communities, sourcing food locally wherever possible to support the local economy. Our meals are cooked and served by community volunteers, fostering a sense of ownership and collaboration. We are committed to keeping our running costs low to ensure that the maximum amount of every donation reaches the children who need it most. We are currently feeding over 2.6 million children every school day across 16-19 countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Caribbean, and the Middle East. Our vision is that every child receives one daily meal in their place of education and that all those who have more than they need share with those who lack even the most basic things.
