At Marshalls, our story began in the 1890s, founded by Solomon Marshall in the heart of Yorkshire. From these humble beginnings, we've grown into a leading UK manufacturer of sustainable solutions for the built environment, a journey built on unwavering principles and a dedication to providing superior and innovative products. Our values are the bedrock of our operations, encapsulated in the mantra 'the right things, for the right reasons, in the right way,' a philosophy that resonates daily across our offices and sites nationwide. This commitment to excellence has not only seen us survive challenging times, including two world wars, but also contribute to moments of national pride, such as providing the paving, street furniture, and kerbs for the London 2012 Olympics. We've even had the honour of paving Trafalgar Square twice and, over the years, have laid our products in every location on the iconic London Monopoly Board.

Our culture is one of resilience, pride, and a deep-seated commitment to British manufacturing. We believe in contributing to the communities in which we live and work, never compromising on quality or safety. This ethos extends to our workforce of over 2,400 dedicated individuals, who are integral to our success. We foster a transparent and supportive environment where our team members feel valued and are encouraged to thrive, with a significant majority believing they can make a real difference in their roles. Our strategic vision is to be the UK's foremost manufacturer of products for the built environment, a goal underpinned by our leading brands, best-in-class technical and design support, and leadership in carbon reduction and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) standards. We are dedicated to creating better spaces for everyone – socially, environmentally, and economically – by putting people, communities, and the environment at the forefront of everything we do. This includes a strong focus on sustainability, with science-based targets for carbon reduction and a commitment to ethical practices throughout our operations.
