This position covers client management, generation of local compensation and benefits data through various surveys, analytical insights / trends, local and global data on Compensation and Benefits, business development initiation as well as project participation / management.
We will count on you to:
Analyze clients' financial and compensation data versus market utilizing excel modelling skills. Works with colleagues to ensure market data are reasonable and client specifications are met, and complete revisions as necessary.
Create exhibits to compare market compensation data to client compensation data to support client meetings under general review of more senior consultants.
Understand talent management trends, pay practices and policies for a particular client and within the broader marketplace.
Perform various data analysis & research, interact with clients, participate in business development, support in surveys/presentations/projects.
Research public filings to gather financial data, develop peer groups to analyze client data and uses Mercer's in house technology to run reports and extract market data to use in production of analysis. May also research other areas to solicit knowledge at the request of senior consultants.
Assist in preparing client presentations/ reports by using excel data and PowerPoint for review by more senior consultants.
Support seminar/workshop tasks when necessary under close supervision of more senior consultants.
What you need to have:
Bachelor’s Degree, majoring in (not in order of preference) Business Administration/Management, Statistics, Information System, Human Resources, Risk Management or Business-related disciplines.
1 to 5 years of HR or Consulting experience – HR/Compensation and Benefits-related consulting is preferred.
Excellent communication skills in both English and Korean.
