The Role and Your Mission:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Darwin Origin Delivery team at Darwin.
This role will be based in Cluj. This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office.

The Darwin Origin Delivery team is responsible for implementing Darwin™ for our clients and managing any changes to their requirements while using the platform and its services. The team plays a critical role in helping clients realize the value of their investment in our innovative SaaS platform, working in a collaborative, multi-cultural environment.

We will count on you to:

Adhere to the QA methodology and internal working procedures in order to ensure the quality of the delivered product:

  • Determine the scope of testing - in order to achieve a complete understanding of the testing criteria, seek information and explanations from appropriate sources and documents.
  • Develop and execute basic level test cases/scenarios, based on internal ways of working.
  • Understand the defect (bug) management lifecycle process: raise defects in a non-confrontational and clear manner, fix defects and make sure the requirements are met;

Learn and apply the Delivery QA processes used in process of delivery alongside with our internal tools:

  • Gain a thorough understanding of all Darwin™ areas relevant to testing the end-to-end Darwin™ configuration, as well as the end user experience.
  • Use Jira as internal Darwin™ tool for project tracking.
  • Gain a good understanding of the delivery methodology and demonstrate you follow it, by adopting the best practices according to your role.
  • Ensure the project quality gates have been followed throughout the testing phase.

Manage your activity:

  • Collaborate closely with the project team and the squad lead: provide status on your work, proactively flag delays on your work in case of objective reasons (i.e. re-work is needed, major defects found that affect the functionality);
  • Actively be involved in the team meeting discussions.
  • Demonstrate responsibility for your own development and career progression.
  • Utilisation rate: 85% (time spent working on projects or change requests).

Build relationships & work towards developing yourself:

  • Build relationships and establish an effective communication path with the stakeholders you interact with.
  • Constantly seek ways of self-improving, with support when necessary, and prove responsibility for your own development (keep objectives tracker up to date);
  • Seek out opportunities for developing new skills by reaching to senior members of the team to provide advice on how these can be achieved.
  • Willing to accept and offer constructive feedback and be open to adopt a healthy perspective on criticism.

What you need to have:

  • High analytical skills: ability to collect and analyse information, problem-solve, and make decisions.
  • Technical skills: ability to perform tasks that require the use of certain tools, and the technology required to master their intended uses in a variety of scenarios.
  • Basic knowledge of the software testing process (quality assurance methods & methodologies, defect management process).
  • Numerical reasoning & mathematical skills.
  • Logical thinking & problem-solving skills.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Good communication skills- both verbal and written.
  • Be a good team player by displaying consistent teamwork skills also showing a strong work ethic.
  • MS Excel skills (Medium).
  • English (B2) and Romanian (C1).
