At Marsh we have a fantastic opportunity for an individual keen to progress their career within our dynamic and successful Engineering and Building Surveyors Speciality team. This role will be based in Brisbane. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Account Executive

The successful candidate will have insurance industry knowledge across general insurance, gained in either claims processing, underwriting or broker administration support. You will demonstrate a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, initiative, organisational skills and be able to build relationships with clients, insurers, team members, and other relevant stakeholders.

We will count on you to:

• Support the maintenance of effective working relationships with insurers and clients.
• Provide assistance in all aspects of client service and assisting with the management of a portfolio of accounts, ensuring high quality customer service.
• Build relationships as a trusted and strategic advisor through face-to-face client meetings
• Maintain the up-to-date management of databases, information systems and organisation company records.
• Liaise with Operations Team to process invoicing and related policy documentation.
• Prepare information and documentation for Pre-Renewal and Broking meetings.

What you need to have:

• Relevant general insurance experience, 1-2 plus years preferable.
• Professional indemnity insurance experience an advantage however not essential
• Strong relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience in a client facing role.
• The ability to learn new skills and concepts.
