As the trusted partner behind the world's most recognized brands, including Air New Zealand, Chipotle, Hiscox, KFC, Kraft Heinz, The Atlantic, and more-Marigold delivers relevant brand experiences that cut through the noise and drive real impact. Marigold was born through a merger of industry-leading marketing platforms Cheetah Digital, Sailthru, Selligent, Liveclicker, Emma, and Campaign Monitor, and powers billions of customer interactions annually.

The Role:

As a Senior Manager, Events Marketing, you’ll lead the vision, strategy, and execution of all event programs across Campaign Monitor and Emma — transforming every touchpoint into a powerful brand experience. This role goes beyond logistics; it’s about identifying high-impact opportunities to connect with our ideal customers, crafting memorable experiences that elevate our brands, and driving engagement that translates into measurable pipeline growth. You’ll own the full event lifecycle — from strategy and planning through post-event analysis and nurture — while collaborating closely with Sales, Marketing, and Partner teams to ensure every event delivers meaningful ROI and long-term customer value.

Travel Requirements:

Approximately 2-4 events per year

Occasional evening/weekend availability for event execution

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and execute an integrated events strategy that aligns with business goals, blending in-person conferences, virtual experiences, and partner co-marketing initiatives.

  • Lead end-to-end event planning and execution, overseeing logistics, creative concepts, booth design, and cross-functional coordination to deliver standout brand experiences.

  • Partner with Sales and Demand Generation teams to target the right audiences, maximize engagement, and convert event interactions into qualified pipeline opportunities.

  • Design pre- and post-event campaigns that create buzz, drive attendance, and nurture leads through tailored follow-up and content experiences.

  • Measure and optimize performance, defining KPIs, analyzing event ROI, and applying insights to continuously improve strategy and execution.

  • Represent Marigold brands at key industry events, building relationships with event organizers and staying ahead of emerging trends in marketing and customer engagement.

About You:

You’re a strategic event marketer who thrives at the intersection of creativity and execution. With a passion for building meaningful brand experiences, you know how to turn ideas into impactful moments that connect, engage, and convert. You’re equally comfortable developing high-level strategy as you are rolling up your sleeves to ensure every detail runs seamlessly — from booth design to post-event reporting.

You have a deep understanding of the B2B marketing landscape and how events drive awareness, pipeline, and customer relationships. Collaboration is your superpower — you love working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Partner teams to bring shared goals to life. You’re data-driven, results-oriented, and always looking for new ways to innovate and elevate the event experience.

Ideal Qualifications:

  • 5–7 years of experience in event management, field marketing, or event marketing within a B2B SaaS or technology environment.

  • Proven ability to plan and execute large-scale in-person and virtual events, delivering measurable ROI and brand impact.

  • Highly skilled in project and budget management, with a track record of balancing multiple priorities and tight deadlines.

  • Strong collaborator with exceptional cross-functional and vendor management skills, fostering alignment across teams and partners.

  • Data-driven and detail-oriented, with experience using event and webinar platforms (e.g., Zoom, ON24, WebEx) to track performance and optimize results.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in the email marketing, marketing automation, or martech space, with an understanding of how events fit into the broader demand generation strategy.

  • Proven success managing events across multiple brands or product lines, ensuring consistent messaging and measurable impact.

  • Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to streamline lead capture, tracking, and post-event nurture.

Our Benefits:

  • Competitive benefits including: medical/dental/vision insurance, life/accident/disabilities insurance, supplemental health benefits, FSA, EAP and pet insurance

  • Generous time off (we call it Open Time Away) as well as paid holidays and a birthday benefit day off.

  • 401k plan with a company match on your contributions.

  • Employee-centric and supportive remote work environment with flexibility.

  • Support for life events including paid parental leave.
