We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Administrator to join our Salesforce Application Administration team! In this role, you’ll be actively involved in system administration, user support, project management, business analysis, and development of our evolving Sales and Service Cloud environments.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders to understand business needs, define system requirements, and deliver solutions that align with company objectives. The Salesforce Administrator serves as a subject matter expert and internal consultant, providing both system administration and strategic guidance to drive productivity and operational success.
OFFICE LOCATION: This is a hybrid or remote position, with a preference on Hybrid. Successful candidates should reside near a Marco office location, including St. Cloud, MN; Minnetonka, MN; Rochester, MN; Little Chute, WI; or Sioux Falls, SD.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Maintain and support our Salesforce instance with 400+ users in Sales & Service Cloud
- Perform administrative functions including user maintenance (profiles, roles & permission sets), reports & dashboards, custom objects & fields, page layouts, record types, deploying change sets and other system administration tasks
- Create & maintain automation processes using flows, approval processes, validation rules
- Discover the “why” using your business analysis skills to gather detailed requirements from business users for process improvements through Salesforce
- Act as the primary escalation point for end-user Salesforce support and platform administration, coordinating with AppDev, IT Operations, and IS Support when necessary
- Participate in the prioritization of enhancements and user acceptance testing of Salesforce projects
- Collaborate with business teams and leadership to define and support the Salesforce roadmap:
- Advocate for platform best practices and scalability.
- Promote Salesforce features and capabilities that align with evolving business needs.
- Research and recommend new tools or apps within the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Plan for upgrades, prepare for seasonal releases, and collaborate with teammates and sales leaders on the Salesforce roadmap
- Record activities in our ticketing system, including documentation of support & system changes/customizations
- Conduct end-user training and create documentation for new features or updates
- Is a primary point of contact and escalation for application vendors.
- Participate in industry and application peer groups/advisory councils.
- Facilitate training on applications and implementations.
- Mentor and coach the Application Administrator I role on Marco LOB applications and business processes to grow their skill set with the objective of advancing them into an AAII or other role within Marco.
- Perform other related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field
- 4+ years of Salesforce administration experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Admin Certification
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Advanced Administrator (ADM-211), Platform App Builder, or other Salesforce Certifications
- Proven experience with Salesforce technologies such as Flow and Lightning App Builder
- Experience with Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Revenue Intelligence, Hubspot
- Experience using Data Loader and SOQL
- User, sharing and permissions management utilizing profiles, permission sets, and public groups
- Knowledge of Apex and Visualforce pages
- Microsoft Excel experience utilizing formulas to clean data

Pay Range: $73,006 - $113,159 annually
