We’re looking for aTECH LEAD (CTO to become)to join a Startup in building a AI transformative platform from the ground up. If you’re passionate about AI, marketplaces, and building category-defining products, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Own the Technical Vision: Define and execute the technical roadmap, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
- Build the AI Core: Develop and deploy AI/ML models and build the product
- Lead Development: Architect and oversee the development of a scalable, secure, and user-friendly platform.
- Recruit and Manage a Team: Build and lead a high-performing engineering team as the company scales.
- Collaborate Closely with the Founder: Work hand-in-hand with the CEO to refine the product vision and ensure technical feasibility.
- Stay Ahead of the Curve: Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and tools to maintain a competitive edge.
- Ensure Quality and Reliability: Implement best practices for testing, deployment, and monitoring to deliver a seamless user experience.
Requirements
- Technical Expertise:
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on AI/ML.
- Proficiency in building and deploying AI/ML models (e.g., NLP, recommendation systems, generative AI).
- Strong backend development skills (e.g., Python, Node.js) and familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Experience with scalable architectures, APIs, and microservices.
- Product Mindset: Ability to think like a product manager and design systems that prioritize user experience and business impact.
- Startup Experience: Prior experience in an early-stage startup or building a product from scratch is a big plus.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to recruit, mentor, and lead engineering teams.
- Passion for AI and Marketplaces: A genuine interest in leveraging AI to disrupt traditional industries.
- Grit and Resilience: A “roll-up-your-sleeves” attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- Education: Graduated from Top Engineering schools with honours
