Python / AI Tech Lead

We’re looking for an experienced Python / AI Tech Lead to join our AI and Data Engineering team delivering large-scale Generative AI solutions for leading enterprises across the US and Europe. This role combines technical leadership, solution architecture, and hands-on Python development — driving the delivery of production-grade AI systems built with LLMs, embeddings, and orchestration frameworks such as LangChain and LangGraph.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable AI-powered platforms using Python, applying advanced ML and DL principles

• Lead end-to-end delivery from data ingestion to model deployment and API integration

• Collaborate with cloud, data, and product teams to define architecture and implementation strategy

• Mentor engineers, perform code reviews, and ensure adherence to software delivery best practices

• Drive PoCs and industrialisation of Generative AI solutions using enterprise-grade frameworks

• Optimise models and infrastructure for scalability, reliability, and performance in production environments

Requirements

• Strong Python expertise focused on AI and data-centric systems

• Deep knowledge of ML and AI frameworks (scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face)

• Experience integrating LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini) and building vector-based retrieval systems

• Proficiency in prompt engineering and orchestration tools (LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, Crew AI)

• Hands-on with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, Milvus) and GenAI system design

• Practical knowledge of MLOps and DevOps (Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)

• Experience deploying AI solutions in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Solid grasp of architecture, APIs, microservices, and security standards (IAM, RBAC)

• Proven leadership experience managing or mentoring engineering teams

• Fluent English (C1 level)

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with data engineering technologies (ETL, Spark, Databricks, Delta Lake)

• Experience in NLP and NLU (NER, semantic search, embedding pipelines)

• Understanding of observability and monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, MLflow)

• Exposure to event-driven or serverless architectures
