Computer Vision Dataset Engineer Intern

Job Description

This role focuses on executing dataset preparation tasks for DMS and ADAS models, including video frame extraction, annotation, dataset validation, and ground-truth correction. The position works closely with senior engineers and follows predefined labeling guidelines, tools, and processes.

Responsibilities include:

• Image Extraction – Extract and organize image frames from driving videos based on predefined classes and scenarios.
• Annotation – Perform manual and semi-automated labeling of images according to provided specifications.
• Training Support – Run incremental model training or inference to accelerate data mining and image extraction.
• Validation – Perform manual validation by comparing ground truth annotations with model outputs to identify errors.
• Tooling – Operate and extend internal Python-based annotation, visualization, and validation tools under guidance.

Required Qualifications / Education

• Education – Undergraduate or graduate student in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in programming and data processing.
• Programming Language – Python.
• Computer Vision – Basic understanding of images, video data, bounding boxes, and annotations.
• Frameworks & Tools – OpenCV, PyTorch, NumPy, Git; familiarity with ONNX Runtime is an advantage.
• Environment – Hands-on engineering role, Fully remote position (no physical office), Based in Israel.
