About the role
- We are seeking an entry or middle level software engineer with degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Photonics, Mechanical Engineer, or a related field.
What you'll do
- Work with our USRnDteams to take over the software and firmware developed for our device, opticalengine, and systemthen implement at our OSAT and contract manufacturer.
- Work withourOSATin Asiafor software implementationtosupport device packaging processautomation and improvementsfor NPI and volume manufacturesuch as active alignmentautomation, testing station software upgrade/support, andscript-baseddata analysis/device auto grading.
- Work with our CMs (contract manufactures) in Asiafor software implementationtosupport device packaging process automation and improvementsto support our optical engine and subcomponent assembly and process improvement for NPI and volume manufacturesuch as active alignment, testing, and script-based data analysis/grading.
- Project tracking weekly.
- Writetechnical reports and present results.
- Pull in the OSAT and CMs’ internal data to help with our data-based failureanalysis andmonitortheirCp andCpkfor internal use.
- Write,maintain, and improvethe script to support tests and reliabilitydata analysiswork atcomponentlevel CoC, device level, optical engine, and module system assembly.
- Involve, track, and document the software, firmware,scripts,evolution with ECN and version control system.
- Work with equipment suppliers tomaintaintheir softwareupdate and improvement.
- Participate in the DFM and gather field feedback at OSATs and CMs to HQRnDteams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 1yearofrelevantexperience.
- The successful candidate need have English communication capability.
- Python or/and C++code for automation, test support, data collection.
- Hands-on data analysisusing customized software and scripts is important
- English communication capability isa must.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office.
- A fastlearner isa must.
- Good workethics and Maintain company confidential information area must
Preferred Qualifications
- A higherdegree with more experience is highly desired.
- Experience insoftware or firmware support is a big plus.
- Experience inworking with OSATs and CMs for software, firmware, and scriptimplementation ishighlydesired.
- Formexperience on opticalmodulesis a plus particularly onactive macro lensalignmentin camera or lidar system.
- Knowing themicroelectronic device packagingis a plus.
- Experience with hands-on testing ofphotonicsandelectronics.device/components.
- ExperienceinSolidWorks and familiar with Engineering drawingis abigplus.
- Automation for data analysis experience such as JMPsscript, orPythonis a plus.
- Experienceinthe assemblyautomation;test automation for volume production is a big plus.
