We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Manager to support a major corporate transformation initiative. The project involves the separation of an existing organization into two independent divisions and requires the oversight, optimization, and strategic deployment of company assets to ensure maximum efficiency, compliance, and value realization across the organization.
The successful candidate will play a key role in planning, executing, and monitoring asset management activities, collaborating closely with finance, operations, and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the full lifecycle of asset management activities, including acquisition, utilization, maintenance, and disposal.
Develop and implement asset management strategies, policies, and governance frameworks aligned with corporate objectives.
Maintain accurate asset records and reporting in SAP, perform valuations, and ensure proper documentation for financial and operational purposes.
Monitor asset performance, identify optimization opportunities, and recommend improvements.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure assets are deployed effectively and efficiently.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, internal controls, and corporate policies.
Prepare regular reports and dashboards for senior management regarding asset status, performance, and risk.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an Asset Manager or in a similar role, ideally in a corporate, multinational environment.
Strong knowledge of asset lifecycle management, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Hands-on experience with SAP Asset Accounting (FI-AA) and/or SAP ERP modules related to asset management is highly desirable.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with diverse business units.
Fluent English; additional language skills are a plus.
Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, asset tracking tools, or large-scale asset optimization projects is highly desirable.
