Position:

Sr. Corporate Development Manager

Position Summary:

Lumeris is a healthcare transformation company built on the belief that primary care is the foundation of a better healthcare system. Our AI-enabled platform, Tom is designed to fundamentally reshape how primary care and value-based healthcare operate — not incrementally, but structurally.

As we scale Tom as a standalone growth engine, we are entering a pivotal phase of enterprise expansion. This role sits at the center of that effort.

The Sr. Corporate Development Manager will play a critical role in executing the company's enterprise growth strategy — supporting capital raises, strategic partnerships, and high-impact growth initiatives tied to scaling a high-growth healthcare technology platform. Partnering closely with executive leadership, including the CFO and Chief of Staff, this individual will guide cross-functional teams, influence executive decision-making, develop investor-ready materials, and translate complex data into compelling executive narratives.

This role requires a hands-on operator who combines analytical depth, structured problem solving, executive presence, and discretion in high-stakes environments.

Job Description:

Corporate Development Execution

  • Direct and manage all phases of workstreams supporting capital raises, strategic investments, and partnerships.
  • Design and orchestrate comprehensive diligence processes including data room organization, materials coordination, and information flow.
  • Act as the primary strategic liaison with internal Finance and Legal teams and external advisors and counsel.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate deal-related risks while ensuring adherence to critical timelines and milestones.

Executive & Investor Storytelling

  • Synthesize complex financial and operational data to architect compelling, executive-ready narratives for board, investor, and strategic presentations.
  • Ensure financial exhibits and operational metrics clearly tell a value-creation story.
  • Elevate internal materials to external-facing quality standards.

Strategic & Financial Case Building

  • Lead the comprehensive evaluation of partnership and investment targets, delivering clear recommendations based on rigorous financial, operational, and strategic analysis.
  • Interpret, evaluate, and pressure-test financial models developed by internal and external partners, including valuation, scenario modeling, and pro forma forecasting.
  • Assess the reasonableness of assumptions, key value drivers, and downside risks — identifying sensitivity points and potential deal-break scenarios.
  • Develop and articulate the strategic rationale for growth initiatives, modeling long-term value drivers and integration impacts.

Cross-Functional Orchestration

  • Orchestrate collaboration across Legal, Finance, Product, Technology, Operations, Compliance, and People & Culture as strategic initiatives progress.
  • Translate strategic objectives into actionable workstreams across departments.
  • Drive the development and implementation of scalable corporate development processes and governance frameworks.

Confidentiality & Judgment

  • Handle highly sensitive financial, strategic, and investor information with discretion and maturity.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment in high-stakes environments.
  • Maintain trust with executive stakeholders and external partners.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in corporate development, strategic finance, private equity, consulting, or a similar transaction-focused environment.
  • Experience leading key workstreams or functions within multiple deal or capital cycles from diligence through close.
  • Demonstrated mastery of complex financial models, including scenario and sensitivity analysis.
  • Executive-level communication skills with strong presentation development capability.
  • Structured, analytical problem-solving approach.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Ability to thrive in a lean, hands-on environment without large analyst support teams.
  • High degree of discretion and professional maturity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare experience across payer, provider, healthtech, or SaaS environments.
  • Experience in growth-stage, venture-backed, or PE-backed companies.
  • MBA from an accredited university
  • Exposure to both successful and unsuccessful transaction processes with clear articulation of lessons learned.
