United States onlyLumen is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to help establish cloud best practices, secure foundational architectures, and automated delivery models in Microsoft Azure. The role involves designing, building, and operating scalable cloud platforms, supporting teams through modernization and migration initiatives, and collaborating with engineers and solution architects to recommend technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience designing, building, and deploying scalable cloud-based solutions in Azure or comparable cloud platforms.
- 4+ years of experience across cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering, DevOps, SRE, or application development roles.
- Strong experience automating infrastructure provisioning and delivery using Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation practices.
- Proficiency with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or similar.
- Experience with one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, Go, JavaScript, or C#. Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, networking, IAM, and security best practices.
- Professional English proficiency (C1/C2).
