Position summary / Job purpose:

To co-ordinate the organisation and execute an efficient service department to achieve a high level of After Sales Service, while optimising service revenue/profit and Customer Satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities:

Ensure the continued service and maintenance of LivaNova Group equipment as required by Service Contracts and Warranty agreements to the standards laid down by relevant manufacturer and safety guidelines.

Participate to the International Region Field Service organization, in supporting other geographical areas.

Co-ordinate routine PPM diary and correlate performance against schedule, thus ensuring PPM visits are completed within the terms of the service contracts.

Pursue the renewal of Service Contracts and the conversion of Warranty to Service Contracts as applicable.

Liaise with Customer Service to maintain and order as required a suitable stock of spares and equipment to fulfil service and maintenance requirements.

Co-ordinate goods received, arrange delivery, installation, demonstration and training as required.

Manage the Engineer’s record of all equipment in the field by serial number, delivery and manufacturing date and service history.

Gather relevant feedback and market information and pass on to Sales team/manufacturer as appropriate.

Attend to sales and commercial meetings as required.

Oversee the continued updating of manuals.

Ensure to maintain a high level of knowledge of the products and any modification.

Document any modification made to equipment and record with service reports.

Attend training as required.

Ensure ALL service related quality systems are followed.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 5 years work experience within the medical device or healthcare sector.

A Bachelor degree in life Science, biomedical engineering, electrical engineering or mechanical engineering or comparable training in the hospital or practice environment with cardiological or neurological knowledge.

IT knowledge, including (HL-7) connectivity) is a big plus.

Minimum 2 years’ experience working directly with physicians and/or patients is a plus.

Previous experience of managing and executing customer training and education programs.

Surgical theatre experience.

Language: Fluency in Dutch and English.

Experience in medical device complaint handling and troubleshooting is a plus.

Knowledge of anatomy and physiology is a plus.

Working knowledge of frequently used personal computer programs and relevant applications.
