The company is owned by Ilitch Holdings, and headquartered in Detroit, Michigan.

Little Caesars was founded on May 8, 1959, by Mike Ilitch and Marian Ilitch, starting as a single family-owned restaurant in a strip mall in Garden City, Michigan. Known for its advertising catchphrase 'Pizza! Pizza!', which was introduced in 1979, Little Caesars is recognized for its innovative service models such as the HOT-N-READY pizzas and Pizza Portal pickup systems.
