Pre Sales Engineer, US (Remote)

The Role:

To support our continued growth in North America, Linnworks is searching for a passionate and experienced individual to join our Solution Engineering team and contribute to developing a fast-paced Sales Organization. We are looking for driven individuals who take the initiative to find creative solutions to complex problems while working in a highly collaborative team environment. As a Pre Sales Engineer, you will bring an open mind and a positive attitude while creating exceptional customer experiences for our prospects.

The Pre Sales Engineer will be responsible for demonstrating the value, power, and competitive advantage of our ecosystem and the technical capabilities of our core platforms (Linnworks and SkuVault). The Pre Sales Engineer will work with prospective clients, customers, and partners to ensure a strong fit for their businesses and will be seen as a trusted advisor for the company. They will be able to contribute to the sales, product, services, and partnership strategies.

This position is available to someone able to work remotely in the US without sponsorship. Occasional travel will be expected.

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in SaaS, eCommerce, B2B Sales/Solution Engineering, or Implementation/Onboarding roles.
  • A proven track record of success selling mid-market and enterprise-level SaaS products through demonstrations, drafting RFP responses, and architecting solutions
  • An understanding of complex web and mobile applications utilized for documentation and project management
  • Experience with consultative, value-based selling methodologies
  • Working knowledge of e-commerce business

What you’ll be doing:

  • Own pre-sales technical support of prospects and partners from initial contact through product demonstration and handoff to onboarding
  • Work with Sales Executive members to acquire, grow, and expand mid-market & enterprise accounts by addressing prospects’ technical challenges
  • Actively engage with prospect stakeholders to drive solutions to complex technical or business workflow challenges
  • Assist Sales Executives to respond to RFP and technological requests thoroughly
  • Collaborate with a global team of talented Solution Engineers to drive better processes throughout all aspects of our products and services
  • Possess a complete mastery of Linnworks’ product offerings, business model, emerging technologies, and partner platforms
  • Provide feedback to internal stakeholders and Product Managers to drive platform and workflow improvements
  • Provide training and guidance to all Linnworks Team members, helping us grow our position as e-commerce experts
  • Be flexible to take on additional tasks needed to scale the sales organization
  • Coordinate and collaborate with the support and onboarding teams to ensure the long-term success of the client
  • Continuously develop your knowledge of our product, industry, and sales process
