We are seeking a skilled Performance Test Engineer with hands-on expertise in IBM Rational Performance Tester (RPT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and execute performance testing scripts to validate the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of critical business applications. This role requires strong technical acumen, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality application performance.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Rational Performance Tester (RPT).
- Solid understanding of performance, load, and stress testing methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Experience with test planning, execution, and result analysis.
- Familiarity with performance monitoring tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience testing web applications, APIs, and enterprise platforms.
- Knowledge of system architecture, networking, and application servers.
- Exposure to other performance testing tools and automation frameworks.
- Background in software development or QA engineering.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated performance test scripts using IBM Rational Performance Tester (RPT).
- Execute performance, load, and stress tests to validate application behavior under varying conditions.
- Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide actionable recommendations for optimization.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and business analysts to define performance test requirements and success criteria.
- Troubleshoot issues with test execution, environment setup, and data integrity.
- Document test strategies, test cases, and test results for reporting and knowledge sharing.
