As the Team Lead, Institutional Retirement Sales, you will provide leadership and direction to ensure group results for a team of Retirement Sales Consultants supporting the Institutional Retirement Distribution (IRD) sales. You will direct and motivate the team by setting priorities and activities to help us grow our full service Defined Contribution and Stable Value Investment Only product offerings which lead to an increase in sales revenue and market share within the Institutional Retirement Plan business.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in financial services sales and/or relationship management that aligns with the responsibilities for this position
- 3+ years of managerial, supervisory and/or demonstrated leadership experience
- Strong working knowledge of retirement plan sales process
- FINRA S6 and S63 will be required within 90 days of hire
- Life & Health certification will be required within 120 days of hire
- Confident, comfortable communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated strong relationship management skills with internal clients (e.g. senior management, peers and colleagues); proven ability to develop creative and collaborative approaches
- Finds common ground and can gain collaboration among senior management, colleagues and peers; can influence outcomes without directing or commanding
- Experience specific to Stable Value solutions and product offerings
- Experience specific to the RFP/Finalist/Implementation process for large market DC offers
