As a Rate Analyst you will have the opportunity to work with multiple areas of the organization. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by supporting our global supply chain solutions. The team you will be working with is detail-oriented and analytical, and values the high-volume and fast-paced environment.

So, what will you be doing as a Rate Analyst?

  • Support our global team to expand our capabilities with new or existing 3rd Party Service Providers to support Air, Ocean & Dray with the rate negotiation process, SOP development and on boarding process.
  • Quote rate requests including FCL, LCL and Air.
  • Manage International Freight Rate database(s) that would support our import, export, dray and foreign to foreign shipments.
  • Provide rate analysis of trade lanes as assigned, requested and or directed.
  • Maintain Hard/Soft Copy Contract Files.
  • Assist in managing the freight invoice audit process (review, audit, dispute, log, aging statements, etc.) to identify & document cost saving opportunities that contribute to our organization’s bottom line.
  • Analyze data from our various service providers (using Excel, E2OPEN and other data management systems) to perform ad hoc reporting and analysis.
  • Assist the team with additional projects.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of Supply chain or Logistics transportation experience preferred - International a plus
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high degree of accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
