Position Overview

As the Field and Channel Marketing Manager, you will report directly to the VP of Marketing and play a critical role in driving growth through field events, channel initiatives, and partner go-to-market strategies.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in cybersecurity marketing and a proven track record of building successful partnerships and driving demand generation efforts.

Specific Job Responsibilities

  • Field Events: Plan, coordinate, and execute field marketing events, including tradeshows, workshops, roadshows, and executive briefings, to engage prospects and customers and drive demand generation in key markets.
  • Channel Events: Collaborate with channel partners to organize and participate in joint marketing events, such as partner summits, training sessions, and customer seminars, to enhance partner relationships and drive mutual business objectives.
  • Partner Go-to-Market (GTM): Develop and execute go-to-market strategies in partnership with channel partners to drive joint marketing and sales efforts, including co-branded campaigns, lead generation initiatives, and sales enablement programs.
  • Lead Generation: Implement lead generation programs and campaigns targeted at both direct and channel sales channels to generate qualified leads and opportunities, leveraging a mix of inbound and outbound marketing tactics.
  • Tradeshows: Manage the planning, logistics, and execution of tradeshows and industry events, including booth design, staffing, collateral production, and post-event follow-up, to increase brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Channel Marketing Collateral: Develop and maintain channel marketing collateral, including sales enablement tools, partner playbooks, and co-branded assets, to support channel partner engagement and enablement.
  • Channel Partner Recruitment: Assist in identifying, recruiting, and onboarding new channel partners to expand Legato Security's partner ecosystem and reach new markets and customer segments.
  • Performance Measurement: Track, analyze, and report on the performance of field and channel marketing initiatives, including ROI, lead generation metrics, and partner engagement, to assess effectiveness and inform future strategies.
  • Budget Management: Manage the field and channel marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve desired outcomes and maximize return on investment.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other marketing team members, as well as sales, product, and partner teams, to ensure alignment of field and channel marketing activities with overall marketing and business objectives.
  • Develop marketing strategies that include promoting the importance of cybersecurity features within products/services

  • Market Segmentation: Identify target markets and segments for field and channel marketing efforts, tailoring strategies and tactics to address the specific needs and preferences of different audiences.
  • Content Development: Collaborate with the content team to develop compelling marketing content and assets, including presentations, case studies, whitepapers, and solution briefs, to support field and channel marketing initiatives.
  • Sales Alignment: Work closely with the sales team to ensure alignment between marketing and sales efforts, including lead handoff processes, pipeline management, and sales support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience; MBA preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in field marketing, channel marketing, or partner marketing, preferably in the cybersecurity industry or B2B technology sector.
  • Proven track record of planning and executing successful field marketing events, channel initiatives, and partner go-to-market programs that drive demand generation and revenue growth.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of channel partner dynamics and experience working with channel partners to drive joint marketing and sales efforts.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing channels, including SEO, PPC, social media advertising, and email marketing.
