The Executive Director, Amplify Partnerships has oversight of multiple properties and additional responsibilities related to the overall operations of LEARFIELD Amplify. This role will assist the property Amplify Directors in sales planning, strategy and execution, evaluation of staffing, and managing the partner relationship with key University administrators. The Executive Director will facilitate the sharing of best practices within the region, identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions leading to improved results both sales and customer service related. As new properties are added to the region, this role will serve as the lead person on the launch team.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Talent Acquisition on the recruitment process for all manager and director positions
  • Supervisory responsibilities for all Directors within dedicated region
  • Host region calls with managers to facilitate the sharing of best practices across each property on a regular basis
  • Conduct one on one calls with each Amplify Director in region on a regular basis
  • Conduct property-visits to each partner to meet with Amplify staff and university administration to review systems, process, and staff development
  • Assist in the creation, implementation and execution of national sales strategy which may include, but is not limited to, package sales, group sales, renewals and sales training
  • Be part of a collective team focused on driving the overall growth and strategy for LEARFIELD Amplify
  • Strengthen Amplify’s scope of services and support the scaling of these new platforms to clients and prospects
  • Identify new ways to optimize Amplify operations through business intelligence tools
  • Work across LEARFIELD’s internal divisions to ensure effective delivery of all services to exceed partner satisfaction
  • Be seen as an expert in our specific space both internally and externally; remain up to speed on all the latest trends related to revenue generation
  • Work in close coordination with corporate finance teams in building annual budgets and goals
  • Collaborate with MMR leadership on opportunities to enhance offerings to school and brand partners
  • Oversee and report on key performance indicators for the assigned region
  • Support Amplify leadership with Business Development opportunities within region for adding new business lines to current partners, new partnership opportunities and current contract extensions

Requirements:

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience working in sales with collegiate and/or professional sports team and at least five (5) years of experience working in a ticket sales management role
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, analytical, data-driven environment, which also requires strong communication skills to effectively convey complex business concepts to current and prospective clients
  • Ability to multitask while managing and prioritizing multiple deadlines such as RFP's, proposals, and presentations
  • Comfortable engaging with major client decision-makers, as well as senior executives and leaders, either in one-on-one or small group presentations
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to synthesize and simplify a wide range of complex data points into concise client reports
  • A self-motivated individual and superb team player
  • Takes accountability and ownership of his/her own work
  • Understanding of financial analysis and forecasting, including use of MS Excel for modeling
  • Ability to learn, adapt, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Travel up to 50%

Pay Transparency

The approximate base pay range for this position is $100,000 to $120,000 plus bonus. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Individuals may also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and/or sales compensation. Actual compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience as well as geographic location.
