Position Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Lead the trusts and estates tax practice and oversee complex tax compliance, planning, and advisory services
- Review and sign off on fiduciary, estate, gift, and individual tax returns, including Forms 1041, 706, and 709
- Provide authoritative guidance on estate planning strategies, wealth transfer, charitable giving, and asset protection
- Advise high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families, fiduciaries, trustees, family offices, and legal advisors
- Conduct advanced tax research and interpret federal and state tax laws and regulatory changes
- Oversee estate and trust administration tax matters, valuations, and distributions
- Serve as a trusted resource and technical expert for attorneys, CPAs, financial planners, and wealth advisors
- Lead IRS examination strategies and manage resolution of estate and gift tax issues
- Mentor, develop, and supervise tax professionals; support recruiting and training initiatives
- Manage key client relationships and support firmwide business development and practice growth
- Ensure the highest standards of compliance, confidentiality, and ethical conduct
