Job Summary:
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning Execution:
- Oversee and manage structural steel fabrication and erection projects, ensuring compliance with specifications, budgets, and schedules.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, coordinating with clients, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Steel Fabrication Erection Coordination:
- Work closely with fabrication shops to ensure drawings, materials, and production schedules align with project timelines.
- Review shop drawings and fabrication details, ensuring accuracy and constructability.
- Coordinate with field crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Oversee quality control measures, including weld inspections, material verification, and structural integrity checks.
- Client Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and contractors.
- Conduct progress meetings and provide project updates to stakeholders.
- Negotiate and resolve any project-related issues, ensuring client satisfaction.
- Budgeting Cost Control:
- Prepare cost estimates, bids, and proposals for structural steel projects.
- Monitor project budgets, track costs, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Manage contracts, change orders, and invoicing in alignment with project scopes.
- Safety Compliance:
- Ensure OSHA and company safety policies are strictly followed throughout the project.
- Conduct job site safety inspections and toolbox talks to maintain a safe work environment.
- Address and resolve any safety concerns or compliance issues.
